DUSHANBE, October 4, 2010, Asia-Plus – The Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption says that it did not institute criminal proceedings against the ex-first deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) Qosimjon Ghafarov.
A letter sent by the anticorruption agency to Asia-Plus on October 4 says that the October 1 “Asia-Plus Blitz” item titled “Criminal proceedings instituted against ex-first deputy chairman of SCNS” does not correspondent to the facts and the anticorruption agency did not institute criminal proceedings against Qosimjon Ghafarov.
