DUSHANBE, March 16, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Three residents of Khatlon’s Hamadoni district, including clerk of local court, face charge of drug peddling.
According to the Interior Ministry, Hamadoni resident T.U., 22, was detained on March 15 on suspicion of drug peddling. More than 2 kilograms of hashish were found in his car. “T.U. said he had bought hashish from his neighbor M.N., 23,” said the source, “M.N. was detained on the same day and he said he had bought narcotics from N.S., 25, who is clerk of local court.”
Besides, H.Sh., 41, and Sh.T., 28, were detained in Dushanbe for drug pushing yesterday. Both of them are unemployed and 8 kilograms of raw opium were confiscated from them, the source added.
