DUHANBE, April 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The Ministry of Justice intends to tighten control over execution of judicial decisions.
Minister of Justice Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov remarked this at a news conference in Dushanbe on April 21. He confirmed that sometimes execution of judicial decisions is dragging for a long time.
“We are taking measures to improve work in this area,” said the minister, “We do not deny existence of problems in this area and are taking measures to tackle them.”
He noted that the Ministry of Justice supported officers of the law in every possible way. According to him, they are currently conducting negotiations with the ministries of justice of Russia and Kazakhstan on conducting training courses for Tajik officers of the law.
We will recall that chairman of Tajikistan’s High Economic Court (HEC) Amirkhoja Ghoibnazarov raised the issue of the necessity of tightening control over execution of judicial decisions at a new conference on April 19. “If the control over execution of judicial decisions is not tightened, execution of rulings handed down by courts against those or other persons will drag on for a long time,” he noted.
