DUSHANBE, June 6, 2011, Asia-Plus  -- Resident of Isfara’s Chilghozi Jamoat, Saididris Bobokhonov, 42, was detained by local police in the Ganjaki area of the same Jamoat on June 5 on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing.

Mahmadullo Asadulloyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI) says police officers found some 5 kilograms of heroin hidden in Bobokhonov’s GAZ-3102.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pusher, who has previous drug trafficking conviction, and an investigation is under way.
