DUSHANBE, July 15, 2011, Asia-Plus -- “About the process of investigation into case of my son you ought to ask agencies that are engaged in investigating this case,” Nusratullo Abdulloyev, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan, told reporters in Dushanbe today.
“If my son committed crime, he will be answerable for this,” said Abdulloyev, “I have worked in the judicial system for 34 years and I can say that no one can feel secured against committing crime by accident. My son was not in a state of drunkenness at the moment of the traffic accident, but I state responsibly that I have not applied and I will not apply to anybody regarding this case.”
Abdulloyev said that his son is lawyer, married with two children.
We will recall that Supreme Court chairman''s son is suspected of killing a Chinese woman in a car accident. Farhod Abdulloyev, 24, is believed to have unintentionally killed Liug Zheun, 46, who worked for a Chinese company involved in highway construction in Tajikistan. The accident happened late on April 12 when Abdulloyev was driving his BMW in central Dushanbe. The victim died immediately.
