More than 5kg of drugs were seized by the police yesterday in Tajikistan’s capital.

According to Tajik Interior Ministry’s website (mvd.tj), on Tuesday, April 17, the police have arrested a resident of Rudaki region, 1997 year of birth, as a result of a counterdrug special operation carried out in the Dushanbe’s region of Sino. A total of 5.3kg of hashish were seized from the arrested man.

Criminal proceedings have been launched, investigation is under way.
