Dushanbe. 20 August. “Asia-Plus” – Dadajan Atavullaev is not in the Interpol Database, although the Tajik oppositionier, who lives outside of Tajikistan, stated today on his Facebook page that he is detained in Tbilisi Airport based on Interpol inquiry. He is accused of religious extremism and terrorism.
Mr. Atavullaev notes that inquiry into Interpol has been sent by Tajikistan and gave the inquiry number: 0228 030 20 22 020 volz 030 202 202 25
Mr. Atavullaev tells about his stay in the Tbilisi Airport: "They have generously allowed me to sit in the cafe. It''s a good sign... I have ordered khachapuri and coffee on sand."
Meanwhile, the former Prime-Minister of Tajikistan, now a US citizen, Abdumalik Abdullajanov, who was recently detained in Kiev Airport based on Interpol request, is no longer on the Interpol database.
After almost two months he was released and returned home.
