Dushanbe. 23 August. “Asia-Plus” –  Soghd Province Ministry of Interior Directorate officers saved a 27-year-old resident of Khojand from sex slavery during a special operation.

According to the Ministry of Interior official website, 41-year-old resident of Babajan Ghafourov District, O.A., who temporarily resides in Turkey, bought an electronic ticket on Dushanbe-Istanbul flight for the young woman.

The statement reads: “It was found during the special activities that O.A. was planning on selling the Khojand resident, who was not let on the plane, into sex slavery.”

Criminal case is opened on this fact, and investigation continues.
