DUSHANBE, October 22, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan have reportedly shut down two dens in Dushanbe.
According to the DCA press center, a drug den has been organized in a private house in Dushanbe. The den keeper and two persons in state of drug intoxication were detained during the raid on this den.
Another den, the den of prostitution, has reportedly been organized in one of apartment buildings in Dushanbe. The den keeper, three women aged 17 to 46, who came to Dushanbe from Khatlon province, and three men were detained during the raid on the den.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the prostitution den keeper under the provisions of Article 239 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – organizing or keeping dens and procuring, the source said.
