QURGHON TEPPA, December 12, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Two members of the military recruitment commission in the Nosir Khusrav district, Khatlon province – physician Bobokhon Ochildiev and recruitment officer Shuhratjon Tavqiyev -- have been sentenced to two years in jail each.
The military court of the Khatlon garrison considered criminal proceedings instituted against Ochildiev and Tavqiyev, who were charged with forgery and exceeding official authority.
Six conscripts from Nosir Khusrav district were reportedly found to be unfit for military services on the basis of forged documents, prepared by Ochildiyev and Tavqiyev.
