DUSHANBE, February 26, 2014, Asia-Plus – Know Tajik lawyer Vatan Abdurahmonov, who is member of the Board of the Association of Judges of Central Asia’s Countries also member of the Council of the Association of Judges of Tajikistan, hopes that the court with supervisory authority will make right decision over yesterday’s judgment against newspaper Asia Plus and its editor Olga Tutubalina.
“The judgment put against Asia-Plus and its editor is unfounded, because the article did not insult honor and dignity of certain persons and the “intelligentsia” notion is too wide,” said Abdurahmonov. “However, let us see what decision the court with supervisory authority will make.”
“I hope, it will make right decision,” he added.
