DUSHANBE, April 8, 2016, Asia-Plus – A 23-year-old resident of Dushanbe has been arrested on suspicion of producing forged Tajik banknotes.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, 103 forged banknotes in 50-somoni denomination have been confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against alleged counterfeiter and an investigation is under way, the source said.
