DUSHANBE, April 19, 2016, Asia-Plus – A 34-year-old Qadamjon Safizoda, the head of the Center for Information and Communications Technologies at President’s Executive Office, has been detained on suspicion of corruption.
Safizoda was reportedly detained on April 3 while taking bribe.
He is also suspected of untargeted use of state funds, a source at one of Tajik power-wielding structures told Asia-Plus in an interview.
By president’s decree Safizoda was relieved of his post of head the Center for Information and Communications Technologies at President’s Executive Office on April 4.
