Jealous husband has brutally killed his wife.

The Sughd regional court has sentenced resident of the city of Istaravshan, Hasan Muminov, 43, to 19 years in prison.

The sentence followed his conviction on charges of homicide committed with special severity (Article 104 (2) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code).  Muminov will serve his term in a high-security penal colony.

A source at the Sughd regional court says Muminov brutally killed his wife on August 26, 2016 inflicting seven stab wounds on her.
