The 31st meeting of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS Member States was held in the capital of Kazakhstan on September 23.
The meeting was attended by the Prosecutors General of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Prosecutors General discussed the experience of the prosecutor's offices of the CIS countries, the implementation of the Interstate Program of the CIS Member States for 2019-2022, as well as the Cooperation Program in the fight against crimes committed using information technologies, terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism, the press center of the Prosecutor General's Office of Tajikistan reports.
Prosecutor General also discussed strengthening border security on the external borders of the CIS, improving cooperation in the fight against corruption, in the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, the practice of implementing international treaties in the field of combating crime and other issues.
