DUSHANBE, January 21, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Friday January 21, President Emomali Rahmon singed decrees introducing a number of staff changes in some government agencies and president’s office.
According to a reliable source in the government, Hamdam Taghoymurodov, formerly head of department within President’s Executive Office, was appointed to head the Antimonopoly Agency under the Government of Tajikistan, replacing Amonullo Ashour.
Besides, several heads of departments and commissions within President’s Executive Office were retired for age reasons. Among them are Safarali Qurbonov (head of the culture department), Ravshan Ghaniyev (head of the department of translations), Lyudmila Hasanova (chairperson of the personnel department), commission chairpersons Azam Soliyev and Sanoat Kenjayeva as well president’s aide Barotali Abduramonov.
By government’s decree, Muzaffar Ishoqov, formerly deputy director general of Somon Air, was appointed director general of Tajikistan’s national air carrier, Tajik Air, replacing Alimurod Mahmadaliyev.
