DUSHANBE, February 7, 2011, Asia-Plus -- New Tajikistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan Muzaffar Huseinov presented copy of credentials to Uzbek Foreign Minister Elyor Ghaniyev at the end of last week, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
In the course of the talks, the two exchanged views on state of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan as well as international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
We will recall that President Emomali Rahmon appointed Muzaffar Huseinov Tajik Ambassador to Uzbekistan in January this year. Huseinov replaced Bobokhon Mahmadov at this position.
