DUSHANBE, June 23, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov is expected to arrive in Dushanbe on June 24 for a two-day working visit.
Faridoun Mahmadaliyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, says Serdyukov is scheduled to meet with his Tajik counterpart Sherali Khairulloyev, President Emomali Rahmon and the command of Russian military base deployed in Tajikistan.
The sides are expected to discuss issues related to military and technical cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, the Defense Ministry spokesman noted.
