MOSCOW, July 1, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Ms. Olga Gavruk Belarusian Ambassador to Tajikistan, according to Belarusian presidential press service.
Mr. Qozidavlat Qoimdodov, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Belarus, noted that diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Belarus were established in 1996. “Belarusian Embassy was opened in Dushanbe last year,” said Tajik diplomat, “There is no doubt that that this step will promote further development of relations between our countries.”
