DUSHANBE, December 15, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday December 14, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon attended a ceremony of inauguration of a new building of Tajik Embassy in Berlin.
Speaking at the inaugurating ceremony, President Rahmon expressed hope that the Tajik Embassy in Berlin and the German Embassy in Dushanbe would take all necessary measures to promote further expansion of bilateral friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, the presidential press service said.
Tajik leader noted that Germany was the first among the European countries to open its diplomatic mission in Dushanbe and Tajikistan was the first among the Central Asian nations to open its embassy in Berlin, the source added.
