DUSHANBE, February 25, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zairifi will attend the second meeting of the European Union- Tajikistan Cooperation Council that will take place in Brussels on February 27.
The Tajik MFA information department reports a Tajik delegation departed for the capital of Belgium on Saturday February 25.
The source says talks will focus on the implementation of the EU strategy for Central Asia, political matters, including internal reforms, human rights and the rule of law, water and environment as well as international issues and regional cooperation.
The first meeting of the EU-Tajikistan Cooperation Council was held in Brussels on December 13, 2010.
