DUSHANBE, February 27, 2012, Asia-Plus -- On Saturday February 25, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, the Tajik presidential press service reports.
The two reportedly discussed a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.
Rahmon and Medvedev also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest. Touching upon separate aspects of the regional cooperation, they pointed to the necessity of coordination of efforts on those directions, the source said.
