DUSHANBE, July 10, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan Kenneth E. Gross conferred here Monday with President Emomali Rahmon at the end of his tenure to Tajikistan.
According to the president’s official website, President Rahmon highly appraised a three-year-mission of Ambassador Gross to Tajikistan and noted that Ambassador Gross played a notable role in expanding bilateral ties between Tajikistan and the United States.
Ambassador Gross, for his part, noted that Tajikistan played an important role in the region and expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation between the United States and Tajikistan would expand in the future as well.
