DUSHANBE, September 13, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China were a major topic of a meeting of Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidov, with a group of experts from China’s Foreign Ministry that took place here on September 12, the Tajik MFA information department reports.
In the course of the talks, the sides reportedly exchanged views on ways to provide security in the region in light of the upcoming withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghanistan.
The sides also noted that recent Tajik president’s state visit to China had given a new impulse to further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, the source said.
