DUSHANBE, October 5, 2012, Asia-Plus – Russian president who is currently on an official visit to Dushanbe has presented the state-of-the-art sniper rifle to his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian president, told journalists on October 5 that Vladimir Putin has presented the state-of-the-art sniper rifle to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Tajik president’s press office has confirmed this information.

We will recall that Emomali Rahmon is celebrating his 60th birthday today and Vladimir Putin will celebrate his 60th birthday on October 7.
