DUSHANBE, January 7, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev have exchanged messages of congratulations on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between their countries.
Tajik president, in particular, said in his message of congratulations that relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan have expanded dynamically over the past twenty years and “today, they cover all spheres of life and are an important factor of maintaining regional stability.”
Rahmon noted that Tajikistan attached significance to its bilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan, Tajik president’s official website said.
For his part, Kazakh leader expressed confidence that joint efforts aimed at further expansion of bilateral cooperation will promote “efficient modernization of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, strengthening of their international positions and improvement of living standards of citizens of both nations.”
