DUSHANBE, February 7, 2013, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon affirmed Tajikistan’s keenness to build friendship and establish cooperation with other countries to further develop economic and cultural relations.
Emomali Rahmon said this while receiving the credentials of nine new ambassadors.
President Rahmon received the credentials presented by ambassadors from nine foreign countries in Dushanbe on Thursday, the president’s official website said.
The ambassadors are Wolfgang Banyai from Austria, Ole Johan Bjornoy from Norway, Manuel La Rocca Parada from Spain, Ake Peterson from Sweden, Mahmoud Jamal Ahmad al-Dib from Egypt, Yahya bin Abdullah bin Salim Al Fanna from Oman, Foster Gultom from Indonesia, Mulatu Teshome from Ethiopia, and Joaquim Augusto de Lemos from Angola.
During the meeting with the ambassadors, Emomali Rahmon also expressed confidence that they would take efforts to ensure further expansion of cooperation of their countries with Tajikistan.
