Dushanbe. 11 February. “Asia-Plus” - On Monday, February 11th, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon sent his congratulatory telegram to his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
According to the President’s press service, in his message Tajik leader expressed his confidence in strengthening of relations between the two nations which have common historic and cultural values.
“E. Rahmon stresses the ongoing development in relations between Tajikistan and Iran in such spheres as trade, investments, international relations,” the source has said.
Iran celebrates Islamic Revolution Anniversary every year on February 11th. In January – February 1978 the people of Iran overthrew the monarchy and replaced it with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
