DUSHANBE, February 25, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Embassy in Islamabad gave reception on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the formation of Tajikistan’s Armed Forces at the end of last week.
The reception was attended by high-ranking military and political officials of Pakistan, defense attaches of a number of diplomatic mission accredited in Islamabad and Tajik nationals living and working in Pakistan, the Tajik Embassy said.
Speaking at the reception, Tajik Ambassador to Tajikistan Sherali Jononov, in particular, noted that Tajikistan attached significance to expansion of bilateral cooperation with Pakistan. “Development and expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan in all fields is one of priorities of Tajikistan’s foreign policy,” Ambassador Jononov stated.
