DUSHANBE, February 28, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Bilateral inter-MFA consultations between Tajikistan and Israel were held here on February 27, the Tajik MFA information department reports.
A delegation of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidov, and a delegation from Israel was led by Ms. Ann Azari, Deputy Director General of the Euro-Asia Division, Israeli MFA.
The sides reportedly discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations, the regional situation and challenges, both in the Middle East and in the CIS member nations.
The meeting resulted in signing of a memorandum on carrying out bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries of Tajikistan and Israel.
