DUSHANBE, May 14, 2013, Asia-Plus -- On Monday May 13, Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidov, received a Chinese delegation led by Qiu Guohong, Director-General of the Department of External Security Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides expressed satisfaction with the results of the first Tajikistan-China consultations on issues related to combating terrorism and discussed problems of regional security and the latest developments in Afghanistan against the background of the withdrawal of troops of international antiterrorist coalition from this country in 2014.
In this connection, Tajik and Chinese diplomats underlined the significance of expansion of bilateral cooperation between the countries in combating terrorism, separatism and extremism, the source said.
