DUSHANBE, July 8, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi is currently on an official visit to New Zealand, the Tajik MFA information department.
During the visit that started on July 6, Zarifi is scheduled to hold talks with his New Zealand counterpart Murray McCully and the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Central Asia Jim Bolger.
Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and New Zealand were established in August 1992.
In 2012, a two-way trade between Tajikistan and New Zealand amounted to 55,000 U.S. dollars.
