DUSHANBE, August 1, 2013, Asia-Plus – On Wednesday July 31, Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi met with British Ambassador to Tajikistan Robin Ord-Smith, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
The sides discussed issued related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom in various fields, including tourism.
They also discussed regional security issues and exchanged views on the process of consideration of government-to-government agreements signed between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom, including the double taxation avoidance agreement and the transit agreement.
The sides also discussed the upcoming events, including the high-level international conference on water cooperation that will take place in Dushanbe this month.
