DUSHANBE, August 29, 2013, Asia-Plus – The Socialist Party of Tajikistan will take part in the presidential elections with its own candidate. Abduhalim Ghaffarov, the Leader of the Socialist Party, told Asia-Plus about this.
The Socialist Party Leader said: “We will surely declare our candidate for presidential elections and are not going to join a coalition with other political parties.”
According to him, the name of the Socialist candidate will be declared in the Party Congress, which will be held on 18 September in Dushanbe.
Mr. Ghaffarov said: “Currently about 19 thousand people of Tajikistan are members of our party.”
