DUSHANBE, August 29, 2013, Asia-Plus – The Agrarian Party of Tajikistan will also declare their candidate for presidential elections. Academician Amir Qaraqulov, Party Leader and member of lower house of Parliament, informed Asia-Plus about it.
Party Leader said: “We will declare our own candidate for presidential elections and are not going to join any coalitions with other political parties.”
According to him, the name of the Party candidate will be declared during the Party Congress on 17 September in Dushanbe.
Agrarian Party has approximately 30 thousand members. Meanwhile, the Agrarian Party Leader hopes that his party will receive support from the majority of the population, since 80 percent of the population is directly or indirectly connected to the agrarian economic sector.
