DUSHANBE, November 30, Asia-Plus – On Friday November 29, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon received UN Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mr. Jan Kubis.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the sides discussed a broad range of issues related to the current situation in Afghanistan, reconstruction of Afghanistan’s economy and Afghan situation after 2014.
Rahmon and Kubis reportedly also discussed a number of other international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
We will recall that UN special envoy for Afghanistan arrived in Dushanbe for participation in informal ministerial meeting to discuss the drug trafficking challenges.
