DUSHANBE, December 27, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov yesterday met here with Nikolai Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Collective Treaty Organization (CSTO).
According to the Tajik MFA information department, issues related to implementation of decision adopted at the SCTO summit that took place in Sochi in September this year were a major topic of the meeting.
A special attention was reportedly given to the issue of coordination of actions of the SCTO member nations to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border control.
We will recall the CSTO summit in Sochi made a decision to draw up a joint plan to protect Tajikistan''s border with Afghanistan.
