Tajik and Kyrgyz Vice-Premiers, Muradali Alimardan and Tokon Mamytov, are discussing demarcation and delimitation of disputed areas of the Tajik-Kyrgyz border in Dushanbe. Jumabay Sanginov, Deputy First Deputy Head of Soghd Province, told about this to Asia-Plus.
Mr. Sanginov noted: “The parties will primarily focus on preventing border incidents, which take place in disputed territories between the citizens of the two states.”
According to him, the parties will also discuss the reasons of the incident on the border of two the states, which took place in mid-December of last year around Tajik exclave of Varukh.
Residents of Ak-Say village in Batkent Province of Kyrgyzstan blocked the Isfara-Varukh highway, because they suspected Tajik citizens of arson of a construction
