DUSHANBE, January 16, 2014, Asia-Plus – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held friendly talks with ambassadors of the CIS nations to Russia in the format of working breakfast on January 15, according to the Russian MFA press center.
Tajik Ambassador to Russia Abdlumajid Dostiyev also attended the meeting that discussed prospects for developing integration processes.
The meeting that was held in a friendly atmosphere reportedly focused on political, economic and humanitarian cooperation within the CIS area and key international issues.
We will recall that Ambassador Dostiyev met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Krasin on January 14. The two reportedly discussed issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Russian Federation and the pace of implementation of agreements that were reached between the two countries during Russian president’s visit to Tajikistan on October 5, 2012.
