DUSHANBE, April 28, 2014, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan’s new Ambassador to Turkmenistan Mahmoudjon Sobirov presented his credentials to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the of last week, according to the Turkmen president’s official website.
During the meeting, Turkmen president and Tajik diplomat reportedly expressed satisfaction with the level of interstate dialogue and exchanged views on prospects of further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between their countries.
Sobirov and Berdimuhamedov underlined the significance of activities of Tajik-Turkmen intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.
The sides noted that both countries had good potential for expansion of bilateral cooperation in sectors like industry, education, transportation, health care and agriculture.
