DUSHANBE, May 2, 2014, Asia-Plus -- On Friday May 2, Tajik President Emomali received Dr. Abdullah Matouq Al-Matouq, the Adviser at the Council of Ministers of Kuwait.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kuwait.
President Rahmon reportedly expressed satisfaction with the pace of expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries over the past two years.
Dr. Abdullah Matouq Al-Matouq, for his part, noted that Kuwait was ready to expand cooperation with Tajikistan.
They also discussed issues related to construction of a medical complex in one of regions of Tajikistan, construction of a chain of hotels here as well as Tajik drinking water deliveries to Kuwait and providing oil quotas and Kuwait oil deliveries to Tajikistan, the website said.
