DUSHANBE, June 10, 2014, Asia-Plus – Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov yesterday met here with Janos Herman, Special Envoy of the European Union (EU) to Central Asia.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides discussed the main direction of cooperation between Tajikistan-EU as well as prospects of expansion of cooperation for 2014-2020.
A special attention was reportedly given to issues related to strengthening of border security, management of water resources, energy and environmental protection problems, EU’s Strategy for Central Asia and expansion of regional cooperation with participation of Afghanistan.
