DUSHANBE, July 7, 214, Asia-Plus -- Leader of the Communist Party of Tajikistan (CPT), Shodi Shabdolov, will attend a world forum of labor movements that will take place in Brussels, Belgium in August this year, CPT Secretary, Ismoil Talbakov, told Asia-Plus in an interview Monday afternoon.
According to him, representatives of left movements from than 100 countries around the world will participate in the upcoming forum.
“In a statement he will deliver at the forum, CPT leader will analyze state and prospects of the Communist movements within the CIS area under conditions of global financial and economic crisis,” Talbakov said.
Shabdolov is reportedly expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings with representative of left and Communist movements from several countries.
Founded in 1918, the Communist Party of Tajikistan was registered in 1991. According to some source, the party now has more than 45,000 members.
