The pre-election situation in Tajikistan was discussed today during the meeting of the Deputy Leader of the Islamic Revival Party, Mahmadali Hayit, with the head of the department for democratic management and gender issues of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Dr. Marcin Valecki.
According to Mahmoudjan Fayzrahmanov, IRPT spokesperson, during the meeting the parties discussed the Party’s readiness and women’s and youth participation in parliamentary elections, scheduled for 2015.
According to him, Mahmadali Hayit, the Head of the IRPT Election Office on Parliamentary Elections, expressed his concern with the fact that international organizations upon the completion of elections limit themselves only to publication of their assessment of elections, and then do not look if Tajikistan will react to it or not.
