DUSHANBE, February 19, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik Ambassador to Belarus Qozidavlat Qoimdodov yesterday met in Minsk with Belarusian Minister of Culture Boris Svetlov.
According to the Tajik Embassy in Minsk, the two discussed issues related to cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus, including preparations for holding Days of Culture of Belarus in Tajikistan that are scheduled to take place in Dushanbe this year.
In the course of the talks, Ambassador Qoimdodov noted that Tajikistan is interested in expansion of cultural cooperation with Belarus and training of personnel for its cultural sector at higher educational institutions in Belarus, the source said.
According to him, Qoimdodov and Svetlov also exchanged views on celebration of the Navrouz holiday in Minsk.
