DUSHANBE, April 13, 2014, Asia-Plus – A ceremony of an official opening of the Tajik Embassy in Seoul, South Korea was held on April 13.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the ceremony was attended by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, high-ranking Tajik state officials accompanying him on his visit to Korea, Korean deputy foreign minister and some Korean officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Rahmon noted that opening of the Tajik Embassy in Seoul was an important factor for further expansion of many-sided cooperation between Tajikistan and Korea and expressed hope that the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) would open its office in Tajikistan soon.
