DUSHANBE, June 3, 2015, Asia-Plus – On Tuesday June 2, Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, met with Indian Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Asith Kumar Bhattacharjee.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and India in the fields of agriculture, education and culture.
Zohidi and Bhattacharjee also exchanged views on a number of regional issues being of mutual interest.
On the same day, Zohidi reportedly received Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan, Mr. Hojatullah Faghani, at his request.
They discussed a number of topical issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Tajik MFA information department said.
