DUSHANBE, September 18, 2015, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday September 17, newly appointed Tajik Ambassador to Ukraine Fayzullo Kholboboyev presented his credentials to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
During the official ceremony, the two sides reportedly discussed issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine in various fields.
Ambassador Kholboboyev reportedly assured President Poroshenko that he would bend his efforts to promote expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine.
We will recall that Fayzullo Kholboboyev, who had previously served as Tajikistan’s Plenipotentiary Representative to the Commission for Economic Affairs at the CIS Economic Council and Tajikistan’s Permanent Representative to the Eurasian Economic Community, was appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Ukraine on August 10 this year, replacing Shuhrat Sultonov.
Shuhrat Sultonov had been Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Ukraine since December 7, 2010.
