DUSHANBE, October 8, 2015, Asia-Plus – On the sidelines of the 9th Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidi yesterday met in Seoul with Ms. Lee Ok-ren, Chairperson of the Korean Association of Friendship with Central Asia’s Nations, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
In the course of the talks, the two reportedly discussed issue related to further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea.
They, in particular, pointed to the necessity of using all existing opportunities, including public diplomacy, for expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Public diplomacy or people''s diplomacy, broadly speaking, is the political concept of average citizens engaging as representatives of a country or cause either inadvertently or by design.
