DUSHANBE, March 7, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Friday March 4, new Turkmen Ambassador to Tajikistan Chary Atayev presented copies of his credentials to Tajik Foreign Minister Siorjiddin Aslov.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, Aslov and Atayev exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan
They reportedly also discussed a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.
By Turkmen presidents decree Chary Atayev was appointed new Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan on February 29, replacing Ishankuli Amanlyev.
We will recall that Ambassador Ishankuli Amanlyev on March 1 conferred here with Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov at the end of his tenure to Tajikistan.
The two highly appraised the process of development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and declared for further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in different spheres.
According to the Turkmen Embassy in Dushanbe, Ishankuli Amanlyev has been appointed Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Turkey.
